1. Access and Identification

• All members must present their ID cards upon entry to the facility.

• Lost or stolen ID cards must be reported immediately. Replacement cards may incur a fee.

• Access to the facility is for members only. Guests must register at the front desk and may incur

a guest fee.

2. Behavior and Conduct

• Respectful behavior is required at all times. Harassment, abuse, or disruptive behavior will not

be tolerated.

• Members must adhere to staff instructions and facility signage.

• The use of inappropriate language, clothing, or conduct is prohibited.

• Clothing must be worn outside of locker rooms/showers.

3. Personal Belongings

• GSI is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Use lockers to secure personal belongings.

• Bags and personal items should not be left unattended in common areas.

4. Cleanliness

• Wipe down equipment after use. Dispose of trash in designated receptacles.

• Eating and drinking are permitted only in designated areas. No food or drink is allowed on the

gym floor or courts, except for water in sealed containers.

• Towel service is provided; please return used towels to designated bins.

Gym and Fitness Area Rules

1. Equipment Use

• Use equipment as intended and follow posted instructions.

• Do not monopolize equipment. Adhere to the 30-minute time limit on cardio machines during

peak hours.

• Report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to staff immediately.

2. Attire

• Proper athletic attire is required. No jeans, open-toed shoes, or inappropriate clothing.

• Closed-toe athletic shoes must be worn at all times in the gym area, no black soles.

3. Safety

• Use spotters for heavy lifting. Do not drop weights.

• Personal trainers not employed by GSI are not permitted to train members within the facility.

• Minors 13 and under are not allowed in the gym without supervision.

Court Rules (Volleyball, Pickleball, etc.)

1. Court Reservations

• Courts must be reserved in advance using the GSI app.

• Adhere to reservation times and vacate courts promptly when your time ends.

• No-shows or late cancellations may incur a fee.

2. Equipment and Attire

• Use appropriate footwear for the specific court surface.

• Equipment must be returned to its designated place after use.

3. Conduct

• Follow the rules of the game and respect other players.

• No food, drinks, on the courts. Only water in sealed containers is allowed.

Group Fitness and Yoga Classes

1. Registration

• Pre-register for classes through the GSI app or at the front desk.

• Arrive on time. Late arrivals may not be admitted.

2. Etiquette

• Inform the instructor of any health concerns or injuries before class.

• Follow the instructor’s directions and respect other participants.

• Clean mats and equipment after use.

Locker Rooms and Changing Areas

1. Usage

• Lockers are for day use only.

• Clear out day-use lockers by the end of the day. Items left overnight will be removed.

2. Conduct

• Respect others’ privacy. No photography or video recording.

• Maintain cleanliness and dispose of trash properly.

3. VB Club Members

• Volleyball club members are not allowed to use GSI member locker rooms and showers per

USAV regulations.

• Volleyball club members must check at the front entrance upon arrival.

Additional Policies

1. Health and Safety

• Adhere to all posted health and safety guidelines, including any temporary measures related to

public health concerns.

• Report any injuries or accidents to staff immediately.

2. Child Supervision

• Children 13 and under must be supervised by an adult at all times unless participating in a

designated program.

• Children are not allowed in certain areas (e.g., weight room) unless specified.

3. Pets

• Only service animals are permitted inside the facility.

4. Compliance

• Members must comply with all facility rules and staff instructions. Violations may result in

suspension or termination of membership.
